More than music
Pulse is an exciting new music festival in Europe, showcasing the best emerging artists from the continent. But it’s more than just music. Emphasizing community, reflection, and collaboration, the festival offers a vibrant mix of music, dance, discussions, food, and shared experiences.
In 2026, we will trial innovative formats that will define Pulse ahead of the full festival launch in 2027.

BODY – the sensuous and the performative
- European contemporary dance and guest performances
- Sports showcases and playful communities (e.g. gymnastics, parkour, yoga)
- Morning movement and evening rituals: shared physical formats under the open sky
Signature formats:
FORMATIONS
Thematic walks in reflection groups. Participants choose a theme and journey together through nature – culminating in collective singing: a choreography of thought, body, and landscape.

DANCE & MOVEMENT
Folk dance and body in motion: European rhythms and communal movement. Musicians play – the audience becomes co-creators. From Nordic folk tunes to Anatolian disco. From Portuguese capoeira to Lithuanian forest dance. The body becomes a language.
SPIRIT – The Conversational and the Reflective
- Facilitated political and philosophical dialogues: Europe’s future, climate, migration, democracy
- Intimate stages with authors, thinkers, and young voices from across Europe
- Sound walks, meditation, and poetry in nature From revitalizing your visual identity to realigning your messaging for the digital landscape, we'll guide you through a strategic process that ensures your brand remains relevant and resonates with your audience.
Signature formats:
MOVE ME TALKS
Double Portrait Dialogues: Two people – two worlds – one encounter. Dialogues where, for example, a dancer from the Balkans meets a Danish philosopher to explore what moves them – mentally, physically, and socially.

EUROPE: RECONSTRUCTED
A Conversation House-Raising for Europe: A living dialogue salon where participants switch places in a rotating setting. New questions. New conversation partners. New perspectives on Europe.
THE CONVERSATION TENTS
The slow conversation: One tent. Two strangers. 30 minutes. One question. Encounters arise that cannot be rushed – only unfolded.

SILENT WALK
A sound walk with voices from all over Europe. With wireless headphones, participants are guided through forest and landscape – in sound, poetry, and European existence.

CULTURE – The Creative and the Connecting
- European music (from pop to rock, from folktronica to neo-classical, from Ukrainian folklore to Italian jazz)
- Contemporary art and installation works in forest and on walls
- Circular fashion workshops and catwalks with emerging European designers
Signature formats:
ART IN THE MAKING
Art across boundaries: A collective artwork takes shape during the festival. Participants weave or paint their impressions, words, and objects into one sensory tapestry/painting – framing the soul of the festival.

OPEN EUROPE
Old suitcases placed throughout the festival grounds. Each contains an object and a story from Europe. You open, read, feel – and the conversation begins with a question card.

ENCOUNTERS – The Close and the Communal
- Communal meals with European culinary craftsmanship
- Festival Folk School with morning gatherings and conversation salons
- Cultural square with local and European actors (NGOs, folk high schools, cultural institutions)
Signature formats:

RESONANCE DINING
In this format, participants experience the taste and stories of Europe through shared meals, culinary rituals, and food installations. Each dish opens a dialogue – about culture, memory, migration, identity – inviting guests to respond with their senses, words, or gestures.

THE EUROPEAN HUMAN
The European Human Game: A large-scale existential board game. Participants move through ethical and political dilemmas – guided by young people, artists, and philosophers.
